TOTC.com Questions

The recent sale of TOTC.com for $5,171 dollars over at Sedo happened to catch my attention this week.

As anyone knows who reads this blog I am always interested in 4 Letter Domain Name Sales. The difference this time was the high price coupled with the fact that it has no inbound links, has never been indexed in the search engines and for some reason despite having no Alexa rating has a thumbnail image which links back to a Page Rank 2 Outsource Credit Training Company website.

Can anyone tell me what is going on here?

Did they have the domain name frame redirected to the main site, somehow skewing the presale numbers?

I just don't see it the way sale prices have actually dropped over the last couple of months for the 4 letter dot coms. Hell, I even stopped parking most of mine and am using them as a playground for random experiments, like BNQO.com.

Still having trouble with the PHP but I'm working too much and have had a serious cold the last few days not to mention everything else that has gone wrong recently.

But thats another story.

Note: Suprisingly DEBI.com only recieved $5,000 at auction last week, even with 23 inbound links and a real Alexa rating.
